Gary J. Wright

Gary was born the son of Clarence and Esther (Miller) Wright in Pontiac, Michigan on February 17, 1945. He graduated from Pontiac Central High School, class of 1963. Gary married Kitty Wikle on February 25, 1966 at the Bethel Tabernacle Church in Pontiac. Gary and Kitty raised their family in Auburn Hills. Gary retired from Robert Warner and Associates in 2013.

Gary was a member of the Rotary Club of Auburn Hills and the Elks Club of Rochester. He loved bowling, hunting, and fishing.

Gary is survived by his loving wife Kitty; children Renee (Sostenes) Castillo, Dawn (Ian) Wade, and James (Andrea) Wright; grandchildren Makenzie Christe, Kaitlyn Christe, Hailey Christe, Michael Doughty, Logan Wade, Parker Wade, Remington Wright, and Laila Bowlsby; great-grandchildren Grayson and Tyler McIntosh; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gary is predeceased by his parents and his sister Beverly Rice.

Gary’s family will hold a memorial gathering on Monday November 22nd, 2021 from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at noon at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 3530 Auburn Road in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
