James was born on November 16, 1955, in Ann Arbor, son of the late Jessie and Rebeccah Allen. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Karen Allen; Dear Son James (Shelly) Allen, Jr.; Grandchildren Emily, Jonna (Austin), Daniel, Tarra, and Angel; Great grandchildren Dawson, Aubrey, and Wyatt.
In 2021 he retired from MNP Corporation after 37 years of service.
In honor of his wishes, public services will not be held.
