She was born on July 31, 1942, to Chester and Josephine DeLlowe. She graduated from Rochester High School, class of 1960. Sharon married Stanley Stroh on March 18, 1961, at St. John Lutheran church in Rochester.
Stanley and Sharon enjoyed 63 years of marriage together, always cherishing fellowship with family and friends. She will be remembered for her artistic flair for painting china, her peaceful times of gardening, her love for flowers, and her unique passion for fishing. However, the overall theme of her life was her willingness to be the caretaker for everyone in the family, putting others first with her generous heart.
Sharon is survived by her loving, husband Stanley; her siblings: Goldie Ruscoe and Larry DeLlowe (Marilee); brother-in-law, Bob (Kathy); sister-in-law, Elaine Bjornson; the following nieces and nephews: Deborah Moeller, , Kimberly Ruscoe, Dean Ruscoe, Nancy Peterson, Rick Quitmeyer, Clayton DeLlowe, Craig DeLlowe, David DeLlowe, Delores Dixson, Joy Satterlie, Stu Stuart, Jessica Bowman, Annette Kinney, Jenny Stroh, Louis, Robin Helfant, Sue Smith, Karen Smith, and Kevin Stroh; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Sharon is preceded in death by her siblings Joan Quitmeyer, Betty Westphal, Stuart DeLlowe, Charles (Skip) DeLlowe; nephew Bob (Carol) Ruscoe; and niece Doris Allen.
A visitation for Sharon will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 pm at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 3530 Auburn Road, Auburn Hills, Michigan. Interment will follow at Christian Memorial Cemetery, located at 521 E. Hamlin Road, in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
