Stephen Douglas Provo

Stephen Douglas Provo, age 61 passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Steve was born in Manistique, Michigan and graduated from Manistique High School with the Class of 1982. He served 8 years in the US Navy. He earned a bachelor's degree from Oakland University; working and raised his family in the Detroit area. Steve loved to fish, hunt, and play golf. He was a devoted father, son, brother, and uncle who left us too soon.

Stephen is survived by his daughters Vivian Rose Provo and Sophia Kate Provo; his parents Ron and Judy (Gorsche) Provo; his sister Robin Waters (Brad) and his brother Michael Provo (Melissa).

Stephen was preceded in death by his grandparents Ford and Dorothy Gorsche, and his grandparents Frank and Vivian Provo.
