William Everett Appenroth, age 94, of Rochester Hills, Michigan passed away on December 11, 2021. William was born in Pontiac, Michigan on October 6, 1927. He graduated from Auburn Heights High School and went on to work for General Motors for close to 40 years. William married Donna Churchill on December 24, 1948. He was a member of Central Woodward Christian Church. William loved music, especially big band genre. He even played in numerous bands over the years. William also enjoyed the outdoors.
William was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Appenroth. He is survived by his children, Diana (Theodore) Spiegel, Paula (Robert) Carnes, and John (Laurie) Appenroth; his grandchildren, Wendy Powell, Theodore Spiegel Jr., Andrew Spiegel, Angela Stiltner, Amanda Carnes, Megan Appenroth, and Lauren Appenroth.
A visitation for William will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Rd., Auburn Hills, Michigan 48307, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
William will be laid to rest in White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
