Winter Haven – Billy R. Giles, age 71, of Winter Haven, FL died Monday, May 6, 2013 due to lung cancer. He was born August 16, 1941 in Loretto, TN the son of Calvin H. Giles and Cornelia (Stanford) Giles. He was in management with Adams Packing Association. He was current owner of the Lake Shipp Inn and the Driftwood Inn in Bartow.
Billy is survived by his companion: Martha E. Pouncey of Winter Haven, sons: Rex Giles (Lisa) of Auburndale, BJ Giles of Seattle, WA and Wade Giles (Anna) of Polk City, daughters: Lynn Neisler of Chapin, SC and Sylvia Jenkins (John) of Jefferson, SC, brothers: Mike Giles (Sharleen) of Winter Haven and Ricky Giles of Auburndale, sister: Cathy Hartsfield (Steve) of Auburndale, 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
