

Jerry married the love of his life, Norma Jean, on October 24, 1959, and together they built a life centered on family. He went on to have a long and dedicated career with U.S. Agrichemical at the phosphate mines, where he worked as a maintenance mechanic.
Jerry loved tending to his vegetable garden, and was a faithful member of Legacy Community Church, where he found fellowship and community.
He is survived by his daughters, Susie Hendrix and Sherry Blitch; grandsons, Jeffrey Blitch Jr. (Mary) and Austin Blitch; granddaughter, Amanda Farmer (Sebastian), and Emma Panter; great-grandchildren, Natalie Blitch, Madelyn Blitch, Austin J. Blitch, Cora Farmer, Claudia Zebracki, Hailey Panter, Leah Hoffman, Isaac Gaspar, Liam DiMarco, and Chase DiMarco; and daughter-in-law, Andrea Panter. He also leaves behind additional cherished family members Tiffany Hoffman (Daniel), and Tiera DiMarco (Chester). Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Panter, and one son, Marty Panter.
A visitation for Jerry will be held on Monday, February 16th from 10:30-11:00 at Legacy Community Church, 201 Dickey Rd, Auburndale, FL 33823 with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Jerry will be laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens, 2200 K-Ville Ave, Auburndale, FL 33823.
