Born March 28, 1921 in the township Chimney Rock, NC, Mrs. Nelson was a resident of Bartow since 2007, moving from Winter Haven. Mrs. Nelson worked as a secretary for the federal government in Virginia until she retired. She was a Methodist.
Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Aubrey Russell Nelson, her parents, three sisters and a brother. Locally, she is survived by her nephew, Ray & wife Judy Elliotte of Bartow and her great niece, Janet Elliotte James of Bartow. Other surviving members of her extended family are from her home state of North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia and Colorado.
A funeral service for Faye will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 2198 K-Ville Ave, Auburndale, FL 33823.
