Mark “Shane” Pointer, 43, of Lakeland, FL, passed away on October 29, 2013 at his home. He was born on July 3, 1970 in Winter Haven, FL. He was an Information Technologist and was of the Christian faith.
Shane was preceded in death by his father, Wavley Pointer. He was survived by his mother, Betty Turner, of Lakeland, FL, his step father, James Turner, of Lakeland, FL, his step mother, Jane Pointer, of Waco, GA, his son, Connor Pointer, of Sebring, FL, his daughter, Kennedy Pointer, of Lakeland, FL, his brother, Gregory Pointer, of Lakeland, FL, his nephew, Joshua Craig, currently deployed to Greenland, and his niece, Kasey Pointer, of Lakeland, FL.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 4th, from 9:30-11, with a service following at 11 am. Both will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Auburndale, FL.
