Winter Haven- Mary E. McLeod, age 86, of Winter Haven, FL, died Thursday, April 19, 2012 due to respiratory failure. She was born March 2, 1926 in Glenwood, AL the daughter of Joe Mount and Emma Everage Mount. She attended the Calvary Assembly of God and a Lab Tech for General Foods.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. McLeod was preceded in death by two brothers. She is survived by her husband: Hayward G. McLeod, sons: Don (Gwen) McLeod, Eagle Lake, FL, and Mike (Sharon) McLeod, Winter Haven, daughter: Aneva (Mike) Locklear, Winter Haven, sisters: Juanita Colquitt, Brantly, AL and Betty Dickey, Glenwood, AL, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation is Sunday from 6-8pm at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven with funeral services Monday at 10:00am at the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow in Eagle Lake Church of Christ Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823
