Mrs. Melba Latricia Watford,88, passed away March 17th, 2010 in Auburndale due to a stroke. Born in Houston County, AL on April 9, 1921, she moved to Lake Hamilton from Phenix City, AL 43 years ago. She was retired from Dundee Packing House. She was a founding member of The First Baptist Church of Lake Hamilton. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by three children: Roger Watford, Haines City, Joe Watford, Lake Hamilton, and Wanda Brown, Auburndale, brother, Rev. Thaxton Whiddon, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Martin Van Buren Watford, son, Ronald Watford, and grandson James Creed.

Viewing will be from 2-3 pm Saturday March 20th with Funeral Services following. Both will be at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home Auburndale, FL.
