Lakeland - Opal Helen Tooker, age 94, of Lakeland, FL, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 in her home surrounded by loved ones. Opal was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Born in Linden, MI, Opal moved to Lakeland in 1985 with her husband, Robert H. Tooker. Mrs. Tooker is survived by her husband of 53 years, son David L. Phillips and wife Peggy of Cambridge, MA, daughter Carol A. Tate and husband Marc of Savannah, GA, granddaughter Sheri L. Tate of San Jose, CA, and grandson Jeffrey M. Tate, wife Karen, and great-grandchildren Correna and Nicole of Louisville, KY.
