Robert was a kind and considerate man who was always putting others first. He loved the Lord and had a passion for sharing the Word of God with all he met. Robert was active at Garden Grove Church along with the community in which he and Mary Lynn lived. In his spare time Robert enjoyed woodworking. He would often make homemade gifts for his family and friends, including intricate sleighs for Christmas and a doll size rocking chair for his great-granddaughter.
Robert leaves behind his loving wife Mary Lynn Luiz, his step children Sheryl Weltlin (Kevin), Stephen Seckinger and Terry Seckinger, and his grandchildren Trever Seckinger (Casie), Brayden Seckinger, Bryce Seckinger, Brett Weltlin, Scott Weltlin and Ethan Seckinger along with his great-granddaughter Hayden Seckinger. Robert also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A visitation will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home/Glen Abbey in Auburndale on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 11:00am to 11:30am with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 11:30am. Following the service, Robert will be laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Auburndale.
