Ronald J. Sukenik, 72, passed away in Lakeland, FL on June 19, 2018. He was born on June 28, 1945 in Johnstown, PA. He worked as a bus driver, dispatcher, and safety director for Indian Trails. Ron retired after 33 years from Indian Trails and became the Supervisor of Caledonia Township. In 2006 Ron and his wife, Connie, moved to Lakeland to fulfill his lifelong dream of playing golf and drinking beer.
Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Richard (Anita)Sukenik, of Johnstown, PA on May 3, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Connie, son, Frank (Cindy Garber) Sukenik of Owosso, MI, grandchildren, Marley and Sam Sukenik of Owosso, MI, sister, Maryann (Fred) Moulton of Herndon, VA, and a brother, Ray Sukenik of Johnstown, PA.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. Schalamar Creek Club House to celebrate his life.
