A 1959 graduate of Auburndale High School, Wayne served in the United States Navy from 1960 to 1965 in Newport, Rhode Island. On December 10, 1966, Wayne married Judith (Uphaus) Leopard. He spent most of his carrier working in the phosphate industry and was an avid poker player in his spare time.
Wayne is survived by his children, Tony (Melinda) Leopard of Winter Haven, FL, Andy (Tammy) Leopard of Lithia, FL; one sister, Ann (Bob) Diener of Bakersfield, CA; seven grandchildren, Ty, Drew, Marissa, Julianne, Kacey, Ryker, and Emily; as well as goddaughter Kristy Albright, and his beloved best friend, "Blue".
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlis Leopard and Evelyn Tice, stepmother, Mildred Leopard, wife, Judy (Uphaus) Leopard, and son, Tim Leopard.
