Albert C Thompson

Mr. Thompson was a loving man of God and The Lord started a ministry in Augusta called Blessing Gift Ministries through Mr. Thompson and his wife. He was a member of the United States Army serving as a Specialist 4 ARTY-USAR. In the military, he met his loving wife Annah. After serving in the military he worked at Norfolk Southern as a railroad engineer for 36 years.

Mr. Thompson is preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Alamae Thompson. Survivors include his loving wife, Annah Thompson; daughter Janet Brown; son Alan Thompson (Mary Jane); grandchildren, Curt Mixon (Sandy), Kay O’ Brien (Eric), Crystal Lynn (Nick) and Kimberly Cicco (Hunter); 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter and a great-great grandson on the way.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 5-8pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road. The family will also receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 3pm at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Sabrina Lewis officiating. In lieu of flowers, please give donations to the charity or church of your choice.
