Augusta, Ga, - Mr. Alex Gibson Jr., 59, passed away Monday January 18, 2016. Mr. Gibson was a loving Father who enjoyed spending time with family and friends and cooking for them as well. Mr. Gibson served in the United States Army for 17 years.
Mr. Gibson was preceded in death by his parents Alex and Mary Lou Gipson. Survivors include; his wife, No Sun Yun Gibson; son, Alex Gibson III; sisters, Lottie Osanyingeemi, Lucille (Robert) Williams, and Letha (Thomas) Ray; brothers, Mack (Shirrall) Gipson, Walter (Sylvia) Gibson, Aaron (Helga) Gipson, Larry Gipson, Vernon (Annette) Gibson; grandchildren, Daniel Gibson, Nicholas Wiggins and Omarion Ivey. Many other family and friends also survive.
The family of Mr. Alex Gibson will be receiving friends 5pm – 7pm Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Elliott’s Sons Funeral Home, interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
