

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Alice Webster Oglesby, 82, entered into rest on Saturday, January 12, 2013. Alice worked at Murray Biscuit, Carole Fabrics and later at Fat Man's Grocery as a cashier and manager for many years. She was a loving, caring and thoughtful mother, grandmother and friend. She was known to always be there for anyone who needed her and will be dearly missed. Mrs. Oglesby was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence W. Oglesby, Jr. and their son, Charles Russell Oglesby. She is survived by her daughter, Georgia and Bill Hasselbacher; son, Buddy and Ammie Oglesby, III; daughter, Lois Leach; daughter-in-law, Linda Oglesby; 8 grandchildren, Gary Roberson, Lee Roberson, Christy Roberson, Michelle Sleister, Tina Schneider, Clarence W. Oglesby, IV, James Michael Leach and Joshua Matthew Oglesby; 11 great-grandchildren; one precious great- great grandchild coming soon; sister, Jean Humphries and family; sister-in-law, Juanita Jenkins and family; and many others that she was a Mother to. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 - 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial Services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, January 19, 2013 in the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Rollins officiating. Interment will follow in Hephzibah-Vance Cemetery.
