Kevin and Danny, We are so sorry to hear that Arlene has passed away. She was a good friend and neighbor all those years we lived on Blythe Rd. Our hearts go out to you and your families.

We did love us some Mrs. Childs!  We looked forward to gatherings with your family to hear her talk about how much she loved her family but most of all her love of God.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Arlene was one of my favorite people.  She had the gift of laughter!  Her 1000 Watt smile would simply light up your heart.  She loved Jesus more than anything and I am thrilled she has finally got to meet Him face to face.  Our great loss is most certainly Heaven's gain.   My prayers are with her family as they grieve the loss of this precious woman.

Words cannot express the love that I had for Arlene, she was so much fun to be with, we went on many senior trips together and worshiped the lord together for many years and we talked on the phone at least twice a week and talked about the Lord and his love for us.
I'm so glad that I have the promise of seeing her again one day on the streets of gold where all will be rejoicing and praising the one who gave his life on calvary, heaven will be worth it all.

Such a sweet lady that will be missed by all who knew her. Arlene loved her church family, and cared deeply for everyone. I already miss her in our church choir. And at church dinners, I always wanted to know what Arlene made or baked! She was one of my Mom's best friends, and I know Mama is saddened by Arlene's passing, too. Sad, yes, but we rejoice on where she is, and that her suffering is over. And I know a new member has been added to the Heavenly Choir! Prayers and love to all her family.

Aunt Arlene is 100% healed now.  She always had a beautiful smile.  I remember her serving cornbread at almost every meal growing up as a kid.  I Love You Aunt Arlene.  I Love You Kevin and Danny.  Mom is at Peace.
