Funeral Services will be held 11AM Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home-Lumpkin Road Chapel with Pastor Dewayne French officiating. Interment will be at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Lynn Newman, James Newman, Bobby May, William Lamie, Bryan Babb, Ricky Riley, David Young, and William “Booker” Young.

Born in Augusta and a lifelong resident of Jackson, she was a daughter of the late James and Tiny Babb.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing Bingo. She was a loving wife, loving mother and loving grandmother to her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her children, Mary (Jason) Higgenbottom, Harold Bishop, Jr. and Stephanie Bishop, all of Jackson; four grandchildren, Kaley Higgenbottom, Alyson Higgenbottom, Trey Higgenbottom, and Mackenzy Bishop; two sisters, Edna Reddick and Marilyn Henderson of Augusta; one brother, Terry Babb of Augusta; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Eva Riley, Linda Stevens, Randall Babb, and Ellen Stevens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 3, 2012, 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, Georgia 30906.
