AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Carmelita Saxon entered into rest on Saturday, February 19, 2016. Mrs. Saxon retired from the Richmond County Board of Education as a bus driver. Mrs. Saxon is preceded in death by her loving husband, Waymon Saxon Sr. Survivors include her children, Waymon Saxon Jr. (Patricia), Ricky Saxon (Lorrie), and Robert Gary Saxon; sister, Lois O'Neal of Macon, GA; and her grandchildren, Ricky Saxon Jr. and Katherine Saxon. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM, Monday, February 22, 2016 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road. Funeral services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home.
