He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 33 years, Maureen Stocker; grandson, Daniel Stocker; and his parents, Charles Sr. and Rose Stocker. Survivors include his sons, Charles “Chip” Stocker III, Jeffery Stocker (Erica), and Adam Stocker (Itamara); daughter, Sarah Pulver; grandsons, David Stocker, Alexander Stocker, Immanuel Stocker, and Jacob Stocker; granddaughters, Charley Pulver and Aletheia Stocker; sisters, Charlotte Kuzma and Lillian “Pud” Stewart (Mark); brother, Carl Stocker (Crissy); and many friends and extended family.
A dedicated father and adoring grandfather, he relished spending time with his family. He loved to hunt and be outdoors, and was an avid sportsman. He thoroughly enjoyed reading, and he was the crossword champion.
The family will receive friends from 11am-1pm on Monday, December 16, 2019, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, GA 30906. A gathering with refreshments will immediately follow from 1-3pm at the American Legion Post 178, 3219 Richmond Hill Road, Augusta, GA 30906.
