Mr. Harris was born to the late William and Pearl Harris in Overland,Missouri. He served in the United States Army for 3.5 years serving in the Korean War. Mr. Harris was the life of the party; he knew how to laugh and have a good time. He never met a stranger and spoke to everyone he met. In his spare time he enjoyed riding his bike, reading, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Harris is preceded in death by his son, Steven Harris; great grandson, Malaki Hopper; and also his 8 siblings. Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Dorathy (Carlson) Harris; daughters, Robyn Schmidt (Kevin) of Montgomery, Missouri; Karen Molina of Las Vegas, Nevada and Carlyn Harrison (Henry) of Hephzibah, GA; grandchildren, Lance Hopper (Samantha), Grant Hopper (Niki), Riley Molina and Nathan Urioste, 10 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Donald Carlson and sister-in-law Grace Harris as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
