

Husband - Family Man - Solider - Civil Servant - HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Conrad Lawrence Quezaire, age 83, passed away peacefully on Monday October 27th, 2025, at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, Augusta Georgia.
Conrad was born in Donaldsonville, LA., the second child of ten from his parents Carl Quezaire and Frances Quezaire, both who preceded their son in death. Conrad had resided in the Hephzibah area since retiring, a second time, from government civil service in the Northern Virginia area, and moving from Dale City, VA in 2003. SSG Quezaire had a military career of 22 years that saw him serve in the Vietnam War, and allowed him and his family to travel and live in Texas, Germany (2x), Colorado, Alaska, Michigan and Virginia with his military assignments. His family fondly recalls him living life based off his strong commitment to "Faith, Family and Country," Conrad was a member of the Catholic Church's men's fraternal order of the Knights of Columbus. Conrad was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Ft. Gordon, GA. He was an avid bowler, and could represent himself well shooting a mean game of eight or nine ball on a billiards table. He was lovingly called Conrad or 'CQ' by most; Uncle Conrad by his nieces and nephews; but Papi and/or Pops by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
Conrad is preceded in death by his aforementioned parents, the first love of his life and first wife Patricia Marie Quezaire, and one son, Conrad L. Quezaire, Jr., and 3 brothers, Carl Jr, Kevin and Joe. Conrad is survived by his second wife and love of his life Johnnie Quezaire, Hephzibah, GA, his other son, Leslie Paul Quezaire, Temple Hills, MD; 2 daughters, Kimberly E. Quezaire-Moulton, Augusta, GA, Rhonda C. Quezaire, Asheville, NC; 1 stepson Terry DeBouse, and 3 stepdaughters, Lisa DeBouse, Kathy King and Carla Harper. Conrad is also survived by 1 brother, Andrew Quezaire; 5 sisters, Patricia Williams, Myrna Quezaire Victor, Beverly Williams, Charlene Alexander, Mary Beth Quezaire; 3 sister-in-laws, Elizabeth Alexander, Rita Williams and Annette Conley, grandfather of three boys, Dorian L. R. Parks, Jean-Pierre Quezaire and Anthony Parks, Jr.; great grandfather of 3 boys, Giovanni, Ezekiel and Jacaris and 3 girls, Aniyah, Evelyn and Emani, as well as uncle and great uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of his life and going home will be held on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025 AT 12:00 pm, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Barnes Avenue, Fort Gordon. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. A visitation and prayer service will be conducted at November 3, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 pm, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road Augusta, Georgia.
The family will host a repass at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Barnes Avenue, Fort Gordon following the interment.
