Eugene Rozier

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 2pm in the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Dillard officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Eugene was born Feb 9, 1938 in Cleveland, MS. He moved to Augusta in the early 80s. He was an auto mechanic for Bob Maddox Dodge. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Pauline Hathcock Rozier, parents, Ernest L. Rozier and Minnie Cleora Goodwin Rozier, brother, Cliff Rozier, sister, Marie Enriquez.

He is survived by his son, Robert Allen Rozier, Greenville, MS, sisters, Ruth Gant, Columbus, IN, Kathleen Brannan, Augusta, GA, Hazel Revis, Pass Christian, MS, Carolyn Singley, Jackson, MS,1 grandchild, 4 step grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 1-2pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Augusta Warrior Project, 4115 Columbia Road, Suite 5-333, Martinez, GA, 30907-0410.
