Gary Michael Jones

Mr. Jones loved life. Everyone that met him loved him and he loved everyone he met. Mr. Jones never met a stranger. He enjoyed picking at people and loved fishing. Mr. Jones was saved and baptized in a river in Charleston, SC.

Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Michael John Cline; grandmother, Catherine Louise Stuart; and his close friend, Ronnie Chance.

Survivors include his wife who has been by Mr. Jones’s side forever, Becky Jones; parents, Dale and Mildred Crocker; siblings, Sharon Jones Butler (Dale) and Patricia McQuigg (Andy); uncle, Lawrence Stuart; children, Catherine Costello (Andrew), Christy Leary (Doug), Shannon Connor, Scott Connor, Brittany Sloan (Stephen) and Mark McDowell ; mother-in-law, Margaret Cline; and 16 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held from 11am-2pm on Sunday, September 24, 2017, at Rack and Grill II, 3801 Mike Padgett Hwy, Augusta, GA 30906. Please bring a covered dish to the memorial service on Sunday.
