Mr. Johnny Allen Horton, a pillar of the community, entered into rest Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at his home. He was a great father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great-grandfather who was loved by many.
He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Johnnie M. Overstreet of Augusta, Georgia; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Lewis Horton and grandson, Johnny Overstreet.
Memorial Services will be held 2PM, Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Chapel.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to nurses and staff of Hospice Care of America and Mr. Ricky Love for the exemplary care, love and dedication shown to Papa and family during this most difficult time.
