We are very grateful for the love and kindness you showed to our family and especially to Malaki and Izaiah.  You will be missed very much by all.

Lewis, it took me a long time before I would call you Lewis, I would call you Mr. Odum.  It was the respect you earned calling you Mr. Odum.  You were a great man. Malaki and Izaiah loved you.  I could never fix them breakfast.  yours was always better than mime.  You loved them and they thought of you as a very special grandfather. I felt comfort when I was here alone. If I needed something you always here.  I tried to get the boys to put a commit but every time I asked them about it, there eyes would tear up'  You will surely be miss and you will always be in our memories. We love you.

There are a million ways I could say thank you to him , but not one would describe how I much I really appreciated every thing he had ever done for me. I spent 10 years worth of fishing with him in 3 months , I was also with him when he pulled the trigger on his first deer , that one deer he harvested I thought was the beginning of many more. His love and faithfulness not only to his family but to his hobbies. He would always tell me " if your gonna do anything you might as well do it right " we had some scary moments together that made us closer not jus the good times but the bad times even made our friendship grow. Without Lewis Odum I would not be where I am today with my education , without a doubt i know that he is the reason I am gonna graduate high school this year. The person I expected the most to be at my graduation want be able to make it , the world is a lesser place without you and there is still so many things I need to ask u but I'll never be able to . A man that wasn't afraid to die but understood that when the time comes that it's time to really go home , proud to of have lived the life he lived , he wouldn't of begged for another day , or another minute to breathe the earths air because only the weak are scared of reality. Lewis Odum was far from weak but the strongest man I've ever met and I will miss u greatly , I love u.

where do I begain I know we had some arguments almost every day i will always remember you you taught me how to be myself an how to fish i know i wasn't the best an that when i had problems i could talk to you but i miss you so much it hurts me to see you gone just yesterday bobby tryied his new boat out i know you would of loved to be on it an i caught some fish for you but rest in peace i love you never forget it

Dear Lewis,
You were a good husband and father, we love you and miss you dearly. I was married to Lewis for 45 years and loved every bit of it.

Dear Mr. Odum I don't know how to put in words what you meant to my family. I was very blessed to have met you and for you to be apart of my children lives. You put a huge impact on my kids and took up the time to be like a grandfather to them. You will always be remembered and never forgotten. Malaki and Izaiah miss you dearly and so do I. I very grateful for the things you done with my kids like taking them fishing and even cooking them breakfast in the mornings during the summer. You will always be in our hearts. We love you. Dear Dad, where do I begin? I would like to start off my message by saying Thank you. Thank you for being the dad that was always there for their children, always was there when someone had a problem with their car or their lawn mower. You taught me so much! Everything from walking to talking to being a responsible young woman. You always motivated us to put forth our best effort in school and pretty much everything we did. Your the best dad a daughter could possible have! You may be gone, but I promise, you are never going to be forgotten. Tuesday May 24, 2016, you went to a better place. I know you are fishing in God's best bass boat, catching 60lb bass. I love you and miss you so much Dad!

Mr Odum you meant so much to me and my family and took malaki and izaiah in as your own grandkids. you taught alot of the years you were a man of very high morals and standards. i love you old man enjoy fishing up there in those crystal lakes. we will never forget you.

I started working at Club Car in 1997.  For nearly 10 years in operations I held a variety of leadership positions on various shifts.  Throughout that entire journey there was always one person ever-present and always willing to help and do anything necessary to make a great Golf Car.  That person was Lulu.  We always called our ole bud Lulu and he always did the right things for the company.  He was helpful to even the youngest new Section Leaders or Supervisors and Lulu was always a team player.  I thank God I had the opportunity to work with and know the man and I thank God he was able to enjoy his retirement on his land with his family.  I will never forget Lewis Odum and everything he taught me.  God Bless the family.

Lewis will be very missed. Such a great caring person. Fly with the angels! Love and miss you!
