During her life she worked at Roses as department manager but more importantly she spent the majority of her time being an amazing mother to her children. Frances loved God and sought to serve and honor him in many ways.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, son, Phillip Ogletree and her granddaddy, James Homer Greene (the apple of her eye). She is survived by her son, James Rodney Ogletree; daughter, Vicki Lynn Wescott; grandsons, Dylan Wescott and Brayden Weets; granddaughter, Katelyn Mansell (Shawn); great-grandsons, Landon Mansell, Rowan Mansell and Marshall Wescott; special cousin, Wanda Murphy who was more like a sister.
The family will receive friends from 10-12 on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road. A graveside will follow at 1:30pm on Friday at Iron Hill Advent Church, 4441 Iron Hill Road, Dearing, GA 30808. Pallbearers who will honor Mrs. Ogletree are Rodney Ogletree, Brayden Weets, Ken Coleman, Kenny Coleman, Derrell Newman and Kyle Norton.
The family would like to extend their deepest thanks and appreciation to ALL the caregivers for their dedication and hard work in assisting our mom through her last days. And a very special thank you and deepest heartfelt gratitude to a very dear friend and caregiver, Paula Mitchell for her unfailing support, friendship and love she has continuously shown to our mom and our family for many years now. Her attention, Sacrifice and kindness exceeds more than we could have hoped for. May God bless each and every one of you.
