Memorial Services will be held 2PM Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home-Lumpkin Road Chapel with Rev. Roy McVeigh officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Myrtle F. Hackett; and son, Darren L. Hackett.
Survivors include his wife, Heidi M. Hackett; children, Christine H. Sabine, Carol L. Trout, Cathryn F. Elliott, and Dennis L. Hackett; sisters, Shirley Schroll and Margaret Christ; fourteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Augusta Warrior Project, 4115 Columbia Road, Suite 5-333, Martinez, Georgia 30907-0410.
