Sammie was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Tangy Ivey.
Sammie leaves behind his daughters, Natasha Ivey and Sade Hall (Matthew Hall); his grandchildren, Taniya Gantt, Ashayla Hall, Aaliyah Garner, Matthew Hall, Courntey Garner, Chance Parker, Silas Ivey and Nevaeh Hall.
Sammie enjoyed watching football and spending time with his family. He kept family his highest priority in his life. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be missed deeply, but his memory will be treasured forever.
