William O. Griffin

Mr. William O. “Bill” Griffin, 88, of Augusta, passed away Friday, July 10, 2015. He loved dancing, golfing and grilling. He was known for growing and sharing delicious tomatoes. Bill was a generous, loving man who will be deeply missed by his family and those who have been blessed by his friendship.

Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Ruby Griffin. He is survived by his two daughters, Paula (Jerry) Everidge and Cathy (Mike) Henderson; brother, Charles “Ducky” (Sandy) Griffin; two grandsons, Jimmy (Lacey) Everidge and Jeff (Amanda) Everidge; and three precious great-grandchildren, Carli, Jackson and Wesley Everidge.

Funeral Services will be held 3PM, Sunday, July 12, 2015 in the Mausoleum Chapel of Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
