Angel Louise Galloway, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, was born on February 3, 1958, to the union of Essie Lee Barnes and Jimmy Edward Walker. She peacefully passed away recently, leaving behind cherished memories and a lasting impact on those who knew her.
Angel spent her early years in Denver, Colorado, where she formed lifelong connections and cultivated a vibrant spirit. She attended Cure D'Ars Elementary, Smiley Junior High, and George Washington High School before pursuing higher education at Barnes Community College. With a thirst for knowledge and an eagerness to learn, Angel demonstrated her commitment to personal growth throughout her academic journey.
Along life's many journeys she married Darryl Galloway to whom she spent over 25 years with and they became parents to Darrian Galloway.
While Angel achieved academic success, her truest accomplishments lay in the connections she built with others. She possessed a warm and compassionate nature, always offering a smile and a listening ear to those around her. Angel's friends and family remember her as a beacon of light, bringing joy and laughter wherever she went.
Throughout her life, Angel enjoyed various hobbies and interests, including gardening, reading, and volunteering in her community. She always sought opportunities to make a positive difference in the lives of others, and her kind-hearted nature impacted countless individuals. She was a praying woman and loved being a God fearing mother to her son!
Angel's memory will forever be cherished by her surviving loved ones, (son) Darrian Galloway, brothers James (Jeannie) Walker, Dean (Charlotte) Walker, Derek Walker and sister Lachell (Dee Dee) Walker.
A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her first son; her parents, Essie Lee Barnes and James Edward Walker. Though this loss leaves a void in the hearts of many, Angel's spirit will continue to live on through the memories and experiences shared by all who knew and loved her.
Angel Louise Galloway will be greatly missed but forever remembered for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and her unwavering love for those around her. May she rest peacefully.
