Edward loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas, take pictures, record home videos, sing, and roller skate. While in the United States Air Force, he was in a singing group called The High Seas, which had a number one song called Sunday Kind of Love.
Edward was born, to Martha Drewitt-James of Buffalo New York, and Ocie Mitchell.
Edward was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Drewitt-James; father, Ocie Mitchell; two brothers, Henry and Benny; and sister, Marie.
Edward's memories will always be cherished by his four children Kim M Drewitt-Bunton, Robert E Drewitt, Sheryle R Drewitt, Colette D Drewitt, all of Denver Colorado. His sister Ellyne James, Powder Springs GA. Eight grand children, Leonard Smith (Miyuki), Charles Bunton (Erica), Robert Drewitt, Edward Drewitt, Andre Drewitt, Coleia Mack-Scott (Taiwan), Chelcee Mack, Raymond Mckizzic, twelve great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
