Beloved husband and father John A. Rivera Sr. has departed this life due to cardiac arrest at the ample age of 87, leaving his legacy, his wife Laurel Marilyn Rivera, and his hijos John Jr., David, Susie, Julie, and Chris.
King John was a faithful, proud patriot and a loving, generous, and caring man. In all ways, he was our hero. He will be dearly missed.
A memorial service for John will be held Friday, August 20, 2021. There will be a rosary at 9:15 AM in the crying room of the Queen of Peace Catholic Church, followed by a mass at 10:00 AM also at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 13120 East Kentucky Ave., Aurora, CO 80012.
