

Ronald Tyrone Whittingham was born July 2, 1958 born in Manhattan, New York, to the late Carol Pryor and Donald Whittingham. He was the third of seven children born to this union.
Ronald was truly Black and Proud. He was always trying to get his point heard and he had a lot to say.
Ronald and Angela Bruce were childhood sweethearts. They united in matrimony on October 31, 1981 in Rosedale, Louisiana. * Just before the wedding, Taron was bitten from head to toe by red ants.
Their love for each other kept them sustained. They were truly devoted to each other. She was his ride or die…. He worked hard and she gave him the love and comfort he needed to raise three young boys into men.
After serving in the US Army, he retired in 1983 and moved to Los Angeles, California. Later the family relocated to Denver, Colorado.
Ronald was a Master Chef. As chef at Brooklyn’s he had a number of special house dishes named and created by him; one dish being the, ‘RONALDO”, among other famous dishes specializing in Cajun/Creole cuisine.
Ronald has mourned the passing of his wife, Angela for many years, he leaves to cherish his memory their sons: Tarone Alexander Bruce, Terrance Lamar Whittingham and Jordan Nathaniel Whittingham; two grandchildren: Isiah Sanchez Whittingham, and LiBella Ann Bruce; his siblings: Donald (Nettie) Whittingham of New Orleans, LA, Melvin Whittingham and Kelvin Whittingham both of Albany, NY, Dwayne (Cheryl) Whittingham of Davenport, FL, Paul Whittingham of Orlando, FL; father in-law William L. Williams, Sr.; sisters in-law: Paulette (Kenneth) Givens and Darlene J. Williams all of Aurora, CO; Goddaughter Sable A. Bates of Aurora, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Angela, and sister, Cheryl Whittingham. Ronald will be truly cherished and lovingly missed.
