With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our amazing father on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Hospice Simcoe with his family by his side in his 95th year. Loving husband of Patricia for nearly 69 years. Beloved father of Sue (Don Scott), Richard and Patrice (Carson McIntosh). Proud grandpa of Craig, Brent, Brian, Adam, Ryan,Tyler,Darren and Amanda. Great-grandpa of 10. Survived by his sisters Edna Taylor and Joyce Vine and many nieces and nephews in England. Precedeased by his sisters Laurie, Joan and Hazel. Visitation will be held on Sunday August 16, 2015 from 2:00- 5:00 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South (at Yonge Street) in Aurora. Funeral Service to be held at the Thompson Funeral Home on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. in our Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Simcoe (336 Penetanguishene Rd., RR 1, Barrie, ON L4M 7C2) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
