Albert Dinwoodie March 31st, 1927 April 14th, 2021

Love, light and laughter are diminished in the world with the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather . Albert Dinwoodie passed peacefully at the Maple Health Centre on Wednesday, April 14th 2021, with his beloved wife Pauline at his side, singing favourite songs to him.

Albert was a loving dad to Vivienne (Barry), Susan, and Graham; a special granddad to Scott (Sarah), Geoff (Bailey), Leslie (Randy), Dana (Brayden), Alex (Alyse), Melissa and Connor; and a great granddad to Madelyn, Beau, and Jake. He was also a dear brother-in-law of Henri and Gerry (2017). He will be missed by Frank, Erin, Teri and their families.

We are comforted to know he is re-united with his precious granddaughter Alexis (1985).

Special thanks to the staff on Woodbridge Lane and sincere thanks to Julie and Penny.

Please honour Albert's memory by donating to the Alzheimer Society of Canada*.

My sincere condolences to the whole Dinwoodie family, I have many fond memories working with Al as we estimated work. Never one to waste paper using every corner of his note book and always giving each client the time needed to answer all the questions, so sorry for your loss.

My condolences on the passing of your Dad.
In my interactions with your Dad, I always remember his great smile - I thought that he smiled with his whole face, never a half-hearted smile. It seemed to me that he smiled with his eyes.
I trust that shared memories will comfort you through this time of grief. God bless.
Kindest regards
Lois (Hisey) Brown

My condolences to your family on the loss of Alf as I knew him.
My memories of Alf were a long time ago as he was a good friend of my aunt and uncle Ken and Isabel Richardson. I remember a lot of parties on Saturday nights and Alf was always the life of the party. A very funny man. A great loss.

My sincere condolences to Pauline, Vivian,Susan,Graham and all the grandkids on the passing of Alf. I will always remember the good times that Alf and Pauline had with all the ballroom dancing friends including my late parents Ken and Isabel. Alf was always joking around and had such a likeable personality. I am glad I had the pleasure of knowing the Dinwoodies, and all those great times in the late sixties and early seventies. R.I.P. Alf, you will always be fondly remembered. Ken and Lucy Richardson

It's been a few years, but I always enjoyed my once-a-month visits from Alf and Pauline. It was to pay the paint bill, but we would always end up chatting about travel, business, or my personal favorite was when Alf came in after knee surgery. "How do you feel, Alf?" we asked. He immediately started doing a jig in front of us and replied "Not bad." I strive to be as active and engaging as Alf, and my best wishes to Pauline and Graham.

I am so sorry for your loss. I live down the street from Albert and Pauline. That couple has been a life goal for my husband and I. I have admired them always - out shovelling and raking, well into their 90s! I have missed the daily waves and chats. I cried when I saw Albert's smiling face in the obituary in the paper.
Please give a hug to Pauline from me.

To me, he was Uncle Alf. So many, many wonderful, happy memories of Christmas time spent together, always ready to lead the sing song. When Uncle Alf came you knew there was always laughter. Swimming in the pool, Tiger games and a trip to Woodbine race track with my Uncle Alf. To Auntie Pauline, Viv, Sue, Graham and all his beautiful Grandchildren and Great Children, my sincere condolences for your loss. He will always be remembered and deeply missed.

Sue, I only met your Dad a few times but every time was a pleasure. He was a very happy friendly man and always have a good story to tell he will be missed. May he Rest In Peace and be the Angel watching over all of you.
