Born in Newmarket Ontario, she lived most of her life in Aurora. She worked at Collis Leather (the “tannery”) for several years. She was an avid knitter and doll maker. She enjoyed country music and trips to Nashville. She had many animal companions over the years who were dear to her heart.
Predeceased by her parents Irene (nee Canby) and Ewart Ross “Bill” Seaton. She leaves behind her children, Yvonne Johnston (Dennis), and Wayne; her beloved grandchildren Amber Johnston, Caitlin Johnston (Jeremy Wheeler) and Brandon Johnston (Brittney Gresel), and great-granddaughter Harper Johnston. Also mourning her loss is her dog Lucy.
The family would also like to extend a sincere thank you to the variety of health care professionals who tended to her needs.

“As I sit in Heaven, and watch you every day,
I try to let you know, with signs, I never went away.
I hear you when you are laughing and watch you when you sleep,
I even place my arms around you, to calm you as you weep.
I see you wish the days, begging to have me home,
So I try to send you signs, so you know you’re not alone.
Don’t feel guilty that you have life, that was denied to me,
Heaven is truly beautiful - just you wait and see!
So, live your life, laugh again, enjoy yourself, be free,
Then I know, with every breath you take,
You’ll be taking one for me.”
