Passed away peacefully on Monday February 7, 2011 with his family by his side in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Joan. Cherished by his dear children David and fiancée Irene and Donna and her husband Robert. Proud Poppa of Kaitlin and Victoria. Alex will be held in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Friends will be received at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South (at Yonge Street), Aurora, 905-727-5421 on Thursday February 10, 2011 from 6-8pm. A funeral service will take place Friday at 1:00pm in the chapel. Cremation to follow. In Alex’s memory, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
