Bernadette and Colin, I am sending you and all your family my heartfelt condolences. With the passing of your mom, it's officially the end an era for her family, as she was the last surviving member.
I will always remember Aunty Lal for her animated stories and her laugh. I always looked forward to seeing her at weddings, or parties and whenever we could spend time with her, albeit it never enough.
You have many years of memories to get you through the coming days. Love to all.

Bernadette & Family we are sending thoughts & prayers to you all.
May the memories of your Mom , heal your hearts.
We mostly saw Aunt Lal at special events, or dinners,
where we would be warmly greeted with a hug , she would
have a sparkle about her, & you knew she was glad to see you.
It’s a little thing that meant a lot.
Aunt Lal will be sadly missed & fondly remembered.
I read this and it reminded me of your Mom’s strength.

She stood in the storm, & when the wind did not blow
her way, she adjusted her sails . (Elizabeth Edwards).

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are sent your way during this difficult time. The love Aunt Lal shared openly with everyone will not be forgotten. Spending many days with the family whether it be in Mimico watching the Telemeter TV movies or Aurora washing a car. Your mom was ever present with snacks or drinks and checking on us. Her infectious smile, laugh, hugs will always be remembered. Love to all of you and peace to Aunt Lal.

Thinking of you Bernadette, and all of your family in this very difficult time .
I have many wonderful memories of your mom and the time we shared over the years. Our family Christmas’s together were lots of fun as well as the parties.
I really enjoyed stopping in for a visit with my Auntie Lal after school on occasion, and was treated to some of her baking; her custard tarts were so delicious that I think of her whenever I indulge in one. She will always be in my heart.
