We were very sorry to hear about Barb. Although we did not meet many times, we liked her very much.

My condolense to Ian, Susan, Barb and the rest of the family.  Barb and I met in 1975 and remained friends "through thick and thin".  I will miss her more than words can express as we always use to reminisce about the old days at the library.  Barb, may the angels welcome you and guide you along your way.  May the smiles of the martyrs greet your own as darkness turns into day

I am saddened to hear Barb has passed away. I knew Barb from GSK and we all loved her there. We became friends over the years. Barb, Ian, my hubby Michael and I used to get together. Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Barbara.  It was my pleasure to have known and worked with her at GSK, she was always so friendly and helpful.  My prayers and thoughts are with you at this sad time.

My Father, Clarence Meyers, and I remember how helpful she was to the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy, back when we were building the first Participation House. She was a lot of help to me and other persons with Cerebral Palsy.

She worried about us all, always willingly addressing her words of wisdom with a smile, enjoyed our girls week-ends singing Elvis, my sister Manon's best friend and now you will live within us in our memories.

I have such wonderful memories of Barb.  I've known her most of my life and had the pleasure of hearing her laughter (how she could laugh – her whole body would shake and tears would pour down her face) and I've had the honour of learning so much from her.  Barb taught me to be frugal, always eat dessert, and play board games to get a great word – not to win, be creative and how to be brave and to never be afraid to make a change.  She had been through so much adversity but always came out stronger and better.  I loved her, admired her and will miss her every day.
