Passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Thursday April 8, 2010 at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late G. E. Peter Ryeland (1979). Loving mother of Andrew (Amanda) of Parry Sound, Nick (Judy) of Aurora, Jane (Bryan Hodgins) of Newmarket and Dinah (Steve Brown) of Aurora. Cherished grandmother of Tim (Elana), Jon, Sarah, Adam (Julie), Geoff, Connor, Evan, Peter, Alex and Max. Great grandmother of Jackson, Elizabeth and Aaron. Will be greatly missed by godson Duncan Smith, Kate (Cory Lloyd) and extended family in England. Friends will be received for memorial visitation on Monday April 12th at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, 905-727-5421 from 7-9pm. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday at 10:30am at Trinity Anglican Church, 79 Victoria Street, Aurora. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
