

Bill, son of George and Lena Kizovski was born in Krnov, Czechoslovakia. His family expanded to include his sister Olga and they all moved to Macedonia shortly after in 1963. Bill was a fiercely proud Macedonian, passing on the traditions of his ancestors and deep understanding of Macedonian history to his family.
Bill went to school and was an excellent student and an amazing athlete playing handball, basketball, soccer, and Taekwondo.
In December 1972, the Kizovski family moved to Canada with the support of his Teta Menka and Tetin Kole along with his dear cousins Helen and Kathy.
George, an accredited engineer in Macedonia and Lena – took labourer jobs in Canada to pay their way and worked hard to provide a good life for Bill and Olga.
Bill went to Emery Collegiate where he continued to excel as an honours student and an athlete setting the all-time scoring record in a basketball game with 52 points.
Bill went on to the University of Toronto where he studied computer science and earned his degree in computers and actuarial science. It was at U of T that Bill met his soon to be wife, Liz (nee Rigby).
Bill joined Minicom in 1982 as a part time student and worked his way up to be Vice President Support, eventually using his savings to purchase his pride and joy – a blue trans AM. After Minicom was sold, Bill and his partner Don Kirouac started their own company DBTEK Solutions and were instrumental in assisting with the Y2K ‘crisis’.
After working at Playdium, Bill was approached to become the Executive Director of the Aurora Youth Soccer Club after numerous years of involvement as a volunteer, where he remained until his illness forced him to reduce his participation.
During this time, Bill and Liz welcomed four daughters and a son. Bill was an involved dad assisting with homework and projects for his children along with coaching multiple teams and sports. He was immensely proud of his children and family.
Bill was an active member of the Aurora community spending countless hours over 30 years coaching soccer, basketball and volleyball, mentoring both his children and hundreds of others through the years.
Bill will be hugely missed by his family – wife Liz, daughters Ashley (Matt), Tanya (Dan), Jessica (Ricky), Laura (Anirudh) and son Alexander, along with his parents,sister Olga (Mark), in-laws, cousins, nephews, nieces, friends and co-workers.

A visitation for Bill will be held Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G 6W8. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM followed by a reception in the Heritage Room at Thompson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill's memory may be made to Southlake Cancer Centre.
