Christine Turner

Christine will be greatly missed by her loving sister and best friend, Susan Johnson, and her adoring niece, Mary Christine Johnson. She was predeceased by her devoted parents, Robert and Enid Turner.

Christine graduated from Aurora High School and went on to complete a program in electrolysis. With a steady generosity that reached far beyond her immediate circle, she supported many children around the world through the Christian Children’s Fund.

She found comfort and joy in the quiet artistry of her hobbies, including knitting, rug hooking, and embroidery. An enduring animal lover, Christine always had a very spoiled dog and cat close by, and in her early days she also enjoyed horseback riding.

Throughout her life, Christine dealt with endless health issues without complaint. Her courage and steadfast spirit were evident in the way she consistently made the best of the life she was given. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving and caring daughter, sister, and aunt.

The family extends sincere thanks to Dr. Chao and the staff at Newmarket Health Centre for years of excellent care. Christine and Susan both felt part of a family there, where the staff created a warm and comfortable home.
