Ciril came to Canada as an immigrant in 1951. He was a lumberjack in Labrador before he went to live with his sister Mary in Toronto. That’s where he met Mildred. They married in 1955 and had three children. He had a number of jobs over the years but the best job was his last job. He was a hard worker. His work ethic, empathy and compassion were exemplary. He was our families rock and our hero. Everything he did was for us. He loved being retired and took up golf for a short while. In his twilight years he took care of his cherished home and garden.
