Daniel G. Neuman of Stouffville ON. Born in Paris, France 24 January 1940 and passed away in Newmarket 15 June 2018. Beloved husband of Anne (Heath), loving father of Michelle (Steve Quinn), Scott (Karen Greenwood), Christopher and Timothy. Loving grandfather to Kaitlyn Quinn and Jack Neuman. Special Uncle to Victoria Heath. He will be missed by extended family and many friends. Predeceased by Mother, Sarah Mittnacht Neuman and sister Christine Neuman Belliveau.
Daniel was owner of Ice Photo Studios for 51 years. He also owned and operated the Lighthouse & Beach Motel, Souris PEI for 28 summers (1987-2015). In his youth he was involved with figure skating and often travelled with the Canadian Team to competitions taking photographs of the skaters for the newspapers. Roller Skating was another passion of Daniel's. He was proud to be in the Maple Leaf's dressing room in 1967 after the team won the Stanley Cup and where he met Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson. Daniel was also an honorary member of the Faustina Sports Club. We will miss his humour, passion and dedication for life's opportunities. Friends and family will be received at Thompson Funeral Home, Aurora for a Remembrance Service on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 7 pm.
