

She is predeceased by her parents Earl and Norma Hamilton, her husband of 64 years, William Harold, and her sister, Phyllis Cowan. She is survived by her sister Ruth Ann Patterson, and brother Doug Hamilton, as well as her three children Brian, Brenda (Dan) Asselin, and Barry (Ruth), grandchildren Vicki (Josh), Derek, Andrew (Julia), Michael (Laura) and Myra (Christian).
Delores developed her life long love of music at an early age, playing organ in her family church in Bluevale, Ontario, before embarking on a career as a piano teacher. Her family came quickly after, and she devoted herself to them, while continuing to find time for her musical pursuits. As her family grew up, she re-joined the workforce, enjoying helping customers in various retail stores.
Delores and Harold enjoyed their retirement winters in Florida, where they had great friends and great times, with Delores accompanying the community singing group on her keyboard, after arranging their music.
A visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, located at 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora on November 9, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at Thompson Funeral Home in the Tribute Hall on November 10, 2025, at 11:00 am followed by a reception in the Heritage Room.
A committal service will follow at Glendale Cemetery, 1810 Albion Rd, Toronto.
