Very suddenly at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Saturday, December 28, Doreen passed away in her 82nd year following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She will be sorely missed by her loving husband of 58 years, Blair, sister Lois, sons Michael (Jane); Bill (Anne); Jim (Lori); Tommy; and her ten beloved grandchildren, Grant and Connor; Andrew, Cameron and Gordon; Sarah, Beth, Katie, Leah and Nicky. A private service will be held followed by cremation. No public funeral is planned. A visitation at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South Aurora for her many friends will be held from 2pm to 5pm on Friday January 3rd, , 2014. For all our friends both near and far please join us for a celebration of Doreen’s life which will be held at the Mansion Events Centre, 400 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, on Sunday January 19th from 2pm to 5pm.
