Doris was well loved by her husband, Reg (predeceased), her children, Steve, Murray (Terri), Scott (Marla), Noreen (Stuart), Pat and their families. She was the loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Doris' memory will be cherished by her many friends and extended family.
Doris wore many hats throughout her life, but the essence of Doris has always been caring for others. She was of deep faith and had an intuition for helping through her generosity and thoughtfulness, often showing up with a meal or flowers. She was an excellent cook and baker and was known for her parties, celebrations and witty one-liners. Doris opened up her home over the years to family, friends, neighbours and hockey boarders. A passionate real estate agent in Aurora, Doris found fulfillment in helping young families find their first home. Growing up on the family farm gave her a strong sense of community which she exercised her whole life. May we all continue to support Doris' legacy by being kind to one another.
